The public is invited to meet the artists at the opening reception on Friday, June 14the from 5 pm to 8 pm. The artists will be speaking about their work in the galleries from 5 pm until 6 pm and the reception will follow from 6 pm until 8 pm. The event is free and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Contemporary Fiber Artists (CFA) is a small group of eight working artists who came together driven by their shared interests in contemporary fiber. Beginning in 1994, the group has evolved and grown over the past 18 years. The original intent was for continued and varying dialogue in the arts, support for each others’ artistic goals and to encourage creative development. CFA members exhibit together in regional, national and curated shows. These eight individualistic visions complement each other and fiber art is the unifying factor; individuality in processes and media are unique.
